Brass Fittings

1. Assembly

  • If using Tape, Wind in the direction of the threads.
  • Apply Thread Sealant Compound or Tape.
  • Assembly hand tight.
  • Do not tape first 2 (starting) Threads.
  • Tighten a minimum of 2-1/2 full turns past hand tight.

  • BS 249 type
  • Free Cutting Brass 319 type.
